QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED.  Must possess valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.  Department of Motor Vehicle report will be requested yearly. Must pass background check and drug screening.  Must hold Asbestos Abatement certifications.  Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.  Spends approximately  95% of time on feet, standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, stooping and bending. May be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures and high noise levels.  Superintendent may approve appropriate and acceptable alternatives to the listed qualifications.

CONTRACT:  12 months

WORKING HOURS:  8 hours daily, usually between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

REPORTS TO:  Maintenance Foreman

EVALUATED BY:  Maintenance Foreman

SUPERVISES:  Does not supervise

Grade:  P

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Constructs and repairs sidewalks, steps, ramps, paving, curbs and gutters.
2. Maintains doors, windows, and related hardware.
3. Maintains grounds equipment.
4. Assist with grounds maintenance for the school district.
5. Responds to and completes work order requests from sites regarding general building maintenance.
6. Helps other maintenance areas when needed (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Carpenter)
7. Follows district safety procedures.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
