PASS/Back On Track Director (Non-certified)

Madison Middle Schoool Grades 6-8

QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate Degree or 48 hours of passing College Credit or have passed the ParaPro Test or WorkKeys Test or Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET). MUST PROVIDE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION AT TIME OF HIRE.  Individual must stand and walk up to eight hours.  Experience with technology including Micro Soft Office is required.  Good people skills are necessary to positively impact the student’s learning environment.  Job requires occasional bending/stooping/squatting/crouching/kneeling, climbing, reaching above the shoulder and pushing/pulling.  Job requires occasional carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds.  Job requires employee to use both hands for repetitive actions involving simple/firm grasping and fine manipulation.  Employee must possess hearing and speaking abilities to monitor equipment and communicate with employees, students, and parents.  The Board of Education and Superintendent may approve alternatives to the listed qualifications.

CONTRACT:  Days School Is In Session (183 days)

WORKING HOURS: 8 hours daily

REPORTS TO: Principal

EVALUATED BY: Principal

SUPERVISES:  Students

Essential Job Functions:

1. Provides for and maintains a quiet environment, keeping students on task.
2. Tutors students practicing on a variety of subject assignments.
3. Checks work of each student for completeness and returns work to teachers.
4. Contacts teachers and receives assignments for each student.
5. Monitors students during lunch and restroom breaks.
6. Produces and maintains records of attendance, behavior, cooperation, and productivity.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by Principal or Assistant Principal.
